Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, OpenGL 2.0, 502 MB of storage. Windows only.

This is a small tale from the end. The leftovers of mankind are destined to perish as the Arks break orbit. Suddenly, however, she's making me ask her out, an invitation to face the apocalypse together... a short but exquisite visual novel, "Dream Ending" is humanity's last love story.

The value story

December 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $2.35. It has been discounted 72 times in the 7 years tracked here, typically at 40 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.

On value it sits in the top 1 percent of its genre. It is cheaper than 74 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 99 percent. The nearest things to it, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension ($12.99, scores 77) and The Lar (free, scores 81), are both worse buys on this math.

The math says it holds its tier up to $7.56, and you are being asked for $2.35.

Steam's global achievement data puts 84 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. Of the 387 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 4 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 94 percent of the 566 reviews written there were positive, against 97 percent overall, and those are 18 percent of everything written about it.

2.3 hours to finish it, 5 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 2.3 times the campaign.

What players say

A compact after dinner dessert, yet it delivers a genuinely heartfelt emotional punch. Though there are plenty of regrets not fixed even by the side stories, this doesnt ruin its standing as a good work.

Incredible, simply incredible. It actually surprises me how much this game is underrated. The setting, characters, story, development, everything is great. The ending is sort of bittersweet, but very remarkable, something you won't ever forget. It mixes up aspects of philosophy, making you understand views that society normally leaves behind or does not give much attention. For that, I thank this game for making me...

Fairly nice second entry of the trilogy! The premise reminds me of the VN "Companion", yet the general vibes still rather resemble "Tiny Snow", except I actually perceived this one to be a lot less dark despite the tragic setting lol. I really like the concept and while the world-building and lore aren't as much in focus as I would've desired, the writing still manages to give a great impression of the events. Like...
