What players say
Whimsical art straight from the illuminated scripts of old. Quite a lot of depth. The game loop can get old, but it is a fun one to put down and come back to after a break.
Cute, a bit raunchy, and very clever in using marginalia to create a turn-by-turn battle. I appreciated working my way through the lessons and learning the strategy of the game--of which there is plenty!--even while being like yep, there is weird stuff in some medieval manuscripts. Great art, fun time. A bit simplistic, but glad to see this celebrating the oddity of marginalia.
An amazing and fun game for any strategy fans. Lot of cool and unique units, talents and options to fight in the campaign or duels. Great medieval artstyle. Campaign is a roguelike journey and will not get boring as there are a lot of different variables and strategies you can do. Would love if the icons for the talents and abilities had different colors and not only the icon, this would help to easily differentiate...
