There's a ~5 minute fighting game segment in the second game that actually features motion inputs. It would have been more than enough to have a janky mashing input system, but the devs went out of their way to implement a fireball (and the rest of Ryu's kit). Technically, I've played Evoland 1 two times and Evoland 2 three times. 100% the 2 games over time. The first game has a fun concept, but the turn-based combat sucks ass and barely - for a lack of a better word - evolves.
