What players say
This game is good and I prefer it over the first one. If you play it with focus, u will find that you progress much more and the art is just incredible no wonder the game still maintains its value. The gameplay also feels smooth and they have added more classes and fun challenges that are in the game as well.

Rogue Legacy 2 is a fantastic expansion of the ideas from the first game. Each run is fun and makes progress. Rogue-Lite is one of my favourite genres, and RL2 is one of the best in the category. I played it as it developed and really appreciate the care that went into each expansion. HIGHLY recommend playing with a controller.
The graphics in Rogue Legacy 2 are pretty, but the game play sucks. Unlike the original Rogue Legacy, which blocks damage for a second or two when a monster hits you, Rogue Legacy 2 sets up situations where an enemy will hit you and throw you up in the air, and then you'll bounce on top of the monster again and again until you die. About the game
Rogue Legacy 2 is what you'd get if you mashed Rogue Legacy and a sequel together. Every time you die, your children will succeed you, and each child is unique. Your daughter might be a Colourblind Archer, and your son could be a Pacifistic Chef. Either way, one of them is getting conscripted.
