Wonderful remake of the original Myst game. Much better graphics and the puzzles while true to the original are refined to play better and are much more fun I think. Overall much better and worth every penny,
Important to keep in mind this is a remake of a game that was innovative in the 90s, when the first version was nearly impossible to make. 30 years later, there's Unreal Engine, VR, big screens and beautiful shaders. I don't think it is fair to use modern standards to evaluate Myst: Cyan decided to keep the remake faithful to the original game, with very few updates. A puzzle game. It's probably better with nostalgia if you have played the original 1993, but without playing the original, this one feels extremely old and clunky. Mostly, it's due to constant movement/backtracking that was required to find the solution, a lot of walking, and not enough solving.
