The value story
It has never been cheaper than $9.99. That was February 2024. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 34 in the 5 years tracked, about 8 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 10 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 91 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 88 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name ($49.99, scores 60) beats it on value, while it beats Like a Dragon: Ishin! ($39.99, scores 48).
This site sampled 655 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 10 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written June 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 60 percent of the 351 reviews written there were positive, against 84 percent overall, and those are 16 percent of everything written about it.

What you do: - Run down corridors to mow down THE SAME GOON for 20 minutes - Fight an uninteresting boss battle that doesn't require much from you - Watch a lot of cutscenes - Watch more cutscenes of Travis going to the toilet to save your...
