The value story
Across all 27 discounts in the 5 years tracked, the median cut is 20 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended 11 days ago.
Value puts it in the top 31 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 93 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. First Cut: Samurai Duel ($8.99, scores 57) and Fraymakers ($19.99, scores 44) both outscore it.
More about Two Strikes
Steam's global achievement data puts under 1 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 0.5-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 2 of the 252 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written May 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 85 percent of the 143 reviews written there were positive, against 90 percent overall, and those are 57 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
A true hidden gem of a fighting game, recommending with only praise to give. Lovely to the eyes, super satisfying sound effects, good music, lobby system that works and great netcode (NA East-Hawaii was very playable). The main attraction is definitely the gameplay though, the low amount of moves per character betrays deep mindgames and satisfying conclusions for every interaction. Its just so fun man!!! PLEASE do...
1 more review, not recommended
Game itself is fun but it has a lot of outside problems, like player 2 in online using player 1's button config for keyboard. The core game itself is great tho so if this game ever gets polished up, I'd easily recommend it.
