This game is close to a recommendation, it's not that it's bad, it's more that it's not very good. It plays worse than the original Doom but better than Wolfenstein 3D . The latter had really aged with the release of the former, so that's not a compliment. The game is comprised of a bunch of episodes which contain a few small levels. I can appreciate wanting to create a mashup of Wolf3D and Heretic but this game does so much wrong I couldn't stomach more than 3 Episodes. For starters, visually, this game is vomit inducing, it's incredibly hard to tell where you are in relation to the rest of the level, everything looks the same on top of the overuse of voxels and samey textures leads to disorientation and it's quite frankly terrible.
