What players say
not sure why there are so many negative reviews. it's a great game if you like XCOM style with a twist, in 40K lore. once you get over the learning curve (kinda steep, my first run was ruined due to poor early choices), the gameplay loop is a lot of fun (missions, learning EXP and gear, etc) it did get ''stale'' after like 50 hrs, which i think it's fair. easy recommend.

If you are fan of XCOM, or WH40k - or both, this is game for you. It is much better than Jagged alliance, Phoenix point or new Star Wars Zero Company.
Mission Variety and map design is a chore, Turn-based walking simulator. This is one of those turn-based games that just makes me want to go back to playing an RTS. The difficulty is insane even on the easiest difficulty, possibly due to the abysmal UI and the plethora of unexplained mechanics. My save file is soft-locked due to me starting a mission I cannot complete. The idiotic autosave Overrides your main save...
