The value story
It has never been cheaper than $8.99. That was June 2026. It has been discounted 39 times in the 4 years tracked here, typically at 20 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 2 weeks ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 37 percent on value. It is better reviewed than 67 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, DUSK ($19.99, scores 75) beats it on value, while it beats WRATH: Aeon of Ruin ($24.99, scores 23).
This site sampled 445 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 14 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written September 2022 to September 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 164 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 68 percent of the 287 reviews written there were positive, against 86 percent overall, and those are 29 percent of everything written about it.

Perfect difficulty, wide variety of enemies and weapons, great bosses, phenomenal artstyle, and most important of all, addicting gameplay that puts an emphasis on aim and movement. It really is as good as it gets for a game about running and shooting. The only thing I can really say as a negative is that the pistol is just outstaged so hard by the...
This is a good game. There are no quick saves. At first, being old school Quake player, I have expected that there is fall damage, there isn't. You can't really die from falling. You can die if falling and getting swarmed by enemies but not from falling. Hasn't happened for me yet. Enemies vary which is good. Every weapon is good, revolver for example can quickly fire all six rounds, quite useful, like long range...
