It's a clumsy and boring part, compared to parts 1 and 3. Running all over the landscape knocking out quests for yourself without any clear pointers, such a thing.... For an amateur, this part.

Drove a rusty jeep for 45 minutes while staring at a literal paper map that covered half my windshield. Stopped to clear an enemy checkpoint. Fired exactly one shot. My AK-47 immediately jammed, rusted into a fine powder, and exploded in my face. Tried to throw a molotov to cover my escape. Best hardcore Far Cry game ever made that also never get any remaster or remake. Hope this game gets remastered version soon. Anyway, Greatest enemies in this game are "gun jamming" and "malaria". it can happen to you anytime.
