I'm pretty sure I picked this one up inauspiciously in an indie bundle in 2013, and despite having 1000+ games in my collection, I somehow keep coming back to it 13 years later. The art style is charming, and the gameplay hits that sweet spot of being just accessible enough to pick up, but with plenty of room for optimizing for a challenge. It takes a bit of time to get the hang of the game mechanics, but as soon as I grasped it, it was very addictive. Be ready to punish these greedy humans from time to time :D There are some challenge achievements which required to go rather focused through a 60 min session, but these were totally doable.
Reus is a charming god simulator where you shape the fate of civilizations with giant elemental hands. It's cozy, it's endearing, and then the era timer reminds you that divinity has deadlines.
