What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
The lowest price on record is $2.99, set in August 2026. It has been discounted 40 times in the 4 years tracked here, typically at 80 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales. Today's $11.99 at 80 percent off still sits 301 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Value puts it in the top 48 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands ($9.99, scores 51) beats it on value, while it beats Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier™ ($4.99, scores 25).
Steam's global achievement data puts 57 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 8. 16 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written in August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 28 percent of the 4,084 reviews written there were positive, against 74 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.
23.3 hours to finish it, 100 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 4.3 times the campaign.
3 years after release it still had 1.4K people in it at once.

What players say
This game is the epitome of feature bloat. I was excited to try the immersive mode, which strips out gear score, tiered loot, damage numbers, and cuts down the UI for something closer to a proper tactical shooter. Unfortunately the bloat and the general mess of a UI ruined any enjoyment I got out of the first mission. First, I hope you enjoy popups, reminders, full screen takeovers and upsells. Launching the game...
A game in this state shouldn't exist in 2026. The game constantly crashes to desktop, you need a PERMANENT ONLINE CONNECTION TO PLAY, and if you get disconnected from the Ubisoft servers for 5 seconds, you get sent back to the main menu. How can a company as large as Ubisoft ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥ up so badly? I've never seen a game where you get disconnected while playing SOLO. ♥♥♥ SOLO. LET ME ENJOY THE GAME I PAID FOR...
I went into Ghost Recon Breakpoint without expecting too much, and honestly, I ended up having a pretty good time with it. It definitely has its problems, but there's something really enjoyable about exploring the island, taking out enemy bases and slowly improving your character. The open world is probably one of the strongest parts of the game. Auroa is huge and has a lot of different environments, from forests...

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Breakpoint scores 40/100 on the BANG Score (a skip). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/2231380/tom-clancy-s-ghost-recon-breakpointThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Aug 2, price as of Sep 23.
