What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
- Steam lists in-app purchases but we have no detail on them. Small caution applied.
The value story
It has never been cheaper than $5.99. That was June 2024. 36 discounts in the 4 years on record. They run about 85 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $8.99 at 85 percent off still sits 50 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is pricier than 98 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 92 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. OUTRIDERS ($19.99, scores 20) and Tom Clancy’s The Division™ ($2.99, scores 30) both outscore it.
Players rate it 56 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 44 percent. Something recent has soured the room. Of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 13 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2026 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 230 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 30 percent of the 1,879 reviews written there were positive, against 56 percent overall, and those are 16 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
2026 Review Watch Dogs: Legion is a pretty solid game. It's fun, has an interesting concept, looks pretty good, and is genuinely worth playing, which is why I'm giving it a thumbs up. That said, I don't think it's a particularly strong entry in the Watch Dogs series... The biggest strength is the world itself. London looks fantastic and is surprisingly detailed and accurate, making it an enjoyable place to explore...
Not as bad a game as most would say, though doesn't really compare to the previous entries in the series.
This is one of the games of all times. The gameplay is just bad... The dialog is awful. The concept is great, but it would only have been worth it if a serious studio had made it.
