This game has a lot of nostalgia for me. It's increased size is great and all the random ways to die are awesome. Only one wasn't predictable so far, but the rest are not so predictable that it diminishes the game. I have no idea how far through the game I am yet, but I haven't felt so stuck yet so that I got too frustrated that I wanted to look up help. The controls on a PC are so much better than the NES. Having a great experience so far, I am enjoying the similarities of the art and layouts. I thought that the timed events were a great addition that adds a lot to the whole vibe of the gameplay. However, I did note it to be a lot more linear with a bit too much hand-holding, along with back and forth fetching items for people, which can get a little tiresome. There are significantly less 'useless' items that used to...
