Sudeki, a world torn apart into light, shadow and dark. Rent asunder by deceit and betrayal, the land cries out for a peace that only four united heroes can bring. Beyond the protective walls of Illumina Castle lie miles of pastoral, rolling countryside, though once a serene landscape, the Aklorian forces have transformed the countryside...
What drives the score
How to read this
Every input gets a grade, S to D, read from the buyer's side. The score is multiplicative, so an input only counts as raising when it sits near the top of its own scale. Anything with real room left is holding the score back, because that room is the gap to 100. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. The exact weights stay secret.
The value story
June 2014 is where it bottomed out, at $2.99. 33 discounts in the 13 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 14 weeks apart. Today it is at full price. The last sale was this month, and on this game's rhythm the next one tends to arrive within 14 weeks.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 8 percent on value. It is cheaper than 69 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 79 percent. The nearest things to it, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty ($19.99, scores 1) and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen ($29.99, scores 76), are both worse buys on this math.
1 of the 335 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here comes from a buyer who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 79 percent of the 125 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 14 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 10.9 hours; clearing it takes 23, which is 2.1 times the campaign.

What players say
It is such an amazing classic, it incorporates different types of gameplay and it does it super well, great story too, truly feels like i underpaid, incredible, i am a completionist and it took 20 hours and i still went a few more times into combat just because it was that much fun
fun game, super nostalgic played this on the original xbox sooo much! great to play it on PC now.
The game was released in 2004, but even now it is awesome. Its vibrant world, engaging story, and distinct atmosphere make it a memorable RPG even in 2026. Yes, the graphics and camera can feel dated, but these drawbacks are still minor. The mechanics are simple yet thoughtfully designed, and the spellcasting experience remains especially satisfying - I wish modern RPGs have it this way. If you're looking for a...

Sudeki scores 78/100 on the BANG Score (worth it). The BANG Score rates what a game is worth for the money. Via Steam BANGERS. https://steambangers.com/game/233350/sudekiThe BANG Score is one number for value, 0 to 100: price against how it reviews and how long it was built to be. It answers the money question and stops there; whether the game is for you is still your call.
Reviews set the ceiling and price moves you inside it, so a cheap game that reviews badly cannot climb. Ratings from few reviewers are shrunk toward the middle, so 100 percent from nine people does not outrank 96 percent from ninety thousand. Length comes from HowLongToBeat where it can be matched, measured against a per-genre floor so a five-hour narrative game is judged against other narrative games rather than against a sixty-hour RPG. Where no verified length exists the score says so and carries a dock, because the biggest input is then a guess. The full method, including where it is weak → Steam reviews as of Sep 7, price as of Sep 24.
