What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work

More about 98xx
13 of the 390 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written June 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,597 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 130 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. 1 of the 13 refunded reviewers was past Valve's two-hour window when they wrote the review. Inside the two-hour refund window, 68 percent of the 191 reviews written there were positive, against 81 percent overall, and those are 41 percent of everything written about it.
What players say
I like it so much its low memory\ graphics and Ram will thnk you and i like the core of the game aka a lost footage/computer vibe

very addicting game i played it for 3 hours and still love it, the games are very smooth on steam and the game itself isnt that bad like everyone says, i would recommend it if your looking for something cool/short to play
Honestly got bored within the first hour. The games aren't at all challenging, some of the clues seem to lead to nowhere, and the jumpscares are extremely predictable and don't make sense within the context of the game. The lore also seems to be all over the place, and as another reviewer mentioned, the articles and websites are written with AI. Pretty disappointing. I can't believe I paid for it.
