The value story
February 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $4.49. Its cuts run 50 percent off as a rule. There have been 12 in the 3 years tracked, about 11 weeks apart. Today's $5.99 at 40 percent off still sits 33 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history. The math puts its BANGER price at $3.99. No recorded sale has reached it yet.
At full price it scores 69. The current cut is what makes it a 78.
Value puts it in the top 2 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 61 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Fears to Fathom - Carson House ($3.49, scores 82) beats it on value, while it beats Fears to Fathom - Woodbury Getaway ($6.99, scores 63).
This site sampled 757 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 33 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written October 2023 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,656 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 123 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 85 percent of the 1,552 reviews written there were positive, against 92 percent overall, and those are 26 percent of everything written about it.
