Painkiller Overdose is a mixed bag. For standalone expansion over Painkiller Black, I think it does a good job in providing engaging maps, new weapons, enemies, and a good amount of variety. Some of the levels are phenomenal, Japanese Massacre was incredible, Village of the Damned feels like an RE4 map, and Haunted Valley is just my favorite level I have played so far in a Painkiller game. Buy if you want, this is not really as much fun as Painkiller Black Edition. Replaces Daniel Carner with Belial, both play the same, except Belial has 5 more HP which is pretty much nothing and uses different set of weapons.
