Great gunplay, great mechanics, great level design. All you can ask for in a shooter with many quality of life upgrades from the previous edition.
Genuinely one of the best games I have played in a long time, the gunplay, level design, characters, story, mechanics, different fun vehicles you can pilot, the enemy designs and variety of them is so awesome, the story is quite dark and has very sensitive themes that can push away a lot of people, there's also a lot of gore and nudity. The gunplay is fantastic, the repertoire of weapons is awesome they feel punchy...
Having played the first game not too long ago I feel like most of what I said about that one applies to this game as well. It's horny about the gore but the gunplay is oh so very good. Notably the game crashes far less, in fact the only issue I encountered in my playtime was in the 2nd to last chapter had one of the melee enemies at the start of a stage become invincible for some reason. No matter what I did they...
