A review, ten years too late, lol. And... I really once again wish Steam had a 'not yes but not no either' option. I put fifty+ hours into this game on release and eventually uninstalled it. I was a huge fan of the tabletop game, and ultimately, Armada was good but not quite what I wanted. I so badly wanted to like it because i love the lore, i love the ships, i love the story BUT for the love of the emperor you might as well run into the bloody sun because if your defending the enemy just straight up ignores you, if your stealing info they yoink it right back and leave immediatly like theres no cooldown on warp jump and for bombarbment they stick it across the entire feild and the enemy magicly gets...
Warhammer games are kinda hit and miss, some are superb, some are mediocre or even trash, thankfully we got now quite decent range of them genre-wise. Space ship combat tactics game is really good fit considering abundant lore of void combat in the franchise and scale of those engagements.
