About the game

Based on a true story, Western Press is the most historically accurate frontier dueling game available for PC and Mac. Probably. Up to 16 players (or bots) compete in a tournament of 1v1 sprints to press a random string of ten buttons the fastest.
Description from the Steam store page.
Minimum specs

Minimum on the Steam store: 1 GB of memory, 256MB of Video Memory, 502 MB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS.

The value story

It has been discounted 95 times in the 11 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 80 percent, about 5 weeks apart. Today's $0.79 at 84 percent off still sits 46 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.

It is less well reviewed than 79 percent of its genre. Timberman ($0.49, scores 89) outscores it, and so does Duck Game ($12.99, scores 92). Both sit among its closest neighbours.

More about Western Press

Steam's global achievement data puts about 8 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 0.5-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour.

0.5 hours to finish it, 3 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 5.0 times the campaign.

At 0.5 hours it is a handheld-sized game, and Valve rates it Deck Verified.

What players say

Essentially cr4p where you shoot people and who's first to type specific key combination wins. Visuals are ok though but gameplay is not.
