Definitely one of the better stories I've seen, with plenty of twists - I was able to predict some, but not others, so I'd say it hit a pretty good balance there. Hunting for all possible endings was fun, too. I wish more people knew about this game.

Edit: This was my intro visual novel and while that may confuse some people and then confuse an entire bunch of different people, i think the intro/vibe/sound design/voice acting/direction is insane. I'll admit when i got to Root B in 2019 i wasn't ready as a reader for the change of pace. BUT i came back in 2026 and think this series came full circle for me. Root double is a Denpa VN. If you have experience reading this type of story you will notice a lot of things happening with very convenient timing from the perspective of an unreliable narrator but the story is told from multiple perspectives revealing mysteries.
