If the game does not launch navigate to the install folder > C4 > run RegisterDll.bat as admin. Worked for me. If you played this when you were younger, boy do I have news for you. This is that game you played when you were younger.

After days of trying, finally got this to work on linux (bazzite). Here's how for anyone trying to get it working on Linux. Hope this helps someone else. Now time for me to get back into building a tiny part of Rome. GE-Proton Compatibility settings (Run the game once so it creates a fresh prefix) - Get it via ProtonPlus and completely restart Steam. protontricks 517810 vcrun2005 protontricks 517810 d3dx9...
