The value story
The lowest price on record is $3.74, set in November 2021. 57 discounts in the 9 years on record. They run about 70 percent off, roughly 7 weeks apart.
It is less well reviewed than 93 percent of its genre. On the same math BONEWORKS ($29.99, scores 64) and DOOM Eternal ($29.99, scores 64) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
The press liked it more than its buyers did, 69 against 54 percent.
37 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written August 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 39 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. Inside the two-hour refund window, 36 percent of the 1,347 reviews written there were positive, against 54 percent overall, and those are 57 percent of everything written about it.

Its alr ig, even thoug it uses alot of Doom 2016 maps which is kinda unoriginal, but i still had fun.
Don't expect anything more than what it is. It's a simple, short spin off, with loads of rehash and reuse. Putting that aside. Despite what many people desire (fast paced run and gun), this game provides just enough. You're not supposed to be the DOOM Slayer, you aren't the DOOM Slayer, and thats fine. Equal guns, equal funs. If you want simple DOOM VR fun, this is that. Sure theres some extra tidbits here and...
I wish I could give this a positive review, because when it works , it can be really good fun. Not quite as viscerally satisfying as the game it's based on, but not a bad time, especially if you can get it for cheap. It is absolutely little more than a tech demo, but it can be a fun tech demo. The key words though are when it works. The game is a technical mess, buggy and unstable, game breaking issues are...
