I usually write LONG reviews dissecting games on a design level. I could tell you how DOOM Eternal's systems bully you into "the fun zone" instead of letting you turn it into a spreadsheet of optimal inputs that "optimally" extract the fun from the game. Doom Eternal is an absolute blast, but there are a couple of things worth mentioning. Who stole my tutorial? The game isn't exactly complicated, but there's a solid amount of mechanics to deal with.
