The value story
November 2022 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. It has been discounted 25 times in the 8 years tracked here, typically at 80 percent off, with about 8 weeks between sales.
It is pricier than 99 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 99 percent. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON™ ($59.99, scores 57) and BATTLETECH ($39.99, scores 67) both outscore it.
This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 16 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written October 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,814 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 537 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 21 percent of the 414 reviews written there were positive, against 43 percent overall, and those are 24 percent of everything written about it.
15.7 hours to finish it, 54 to exhaust it. The completionist tail is 3.4 times the campaign.

What players say
This is a fun game but since it is a console to PC port there seem to be a large number of performance issues. The customization is great but it feels like there are quite a few missing Gunpla kits. The story is a very mid visual novel style high school story, it is a quick read and the full art slides are well made. Overall this is a fun Gundam game but I highly recommend using a controller.
The most realistic part of this game is how at the end you end up married to a 35 year old teacher. And building custom Mobile Suits is fun too
this is by far the worst GB game. just buy GB4 it's infinitely better and up to date on kits.
