The value story
March 2024 is where it bottomed out, at $11.99. Its cuts run 25 percent off as a rule. There have been 57 in the 8 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 5 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 87 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 95 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Littlewood ($14.99, scores 88) beats it on value, while it beats Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles ($24.99, scores 46).
This site sampled 420 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 6 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to July 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 50 percent of the 137 reviews written there were positive, against 90 percent overall, and those are 7 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
This game oddly hooked me and deserves a nice review. I don't really know what exactly about this game made me tick, but it did. Also feels extremely nostalgic to play like I'm being sucked back into 2009, I will always hold this game fondly by my heart
I own the Switch version of this game but had to stop playing it on it because the graphics were crapping out on me since Switch 1 couldn't handle it. I did update to the Switch 2 and that was a lot better, but I was still missing the shooting stars. I've had this game in my library for years and started playing it again recently. Altogether I actually have 200+ hours to this game. This game is a lot of collecting...
There's a ton of bugs in this game. The hitboxes to interact with harvestables often don't work properly. The economy is badly balanced and make this a grindfest. It's obvious in just 80mins that there isn't much story or variety in quests.
