Quake 4 is great Quake game, but it is certainly not without its flaws. Unlike prior Quake games, Quake 4 is clearly interested in delivering a narrative and having characters. It continues from the events of Quake II, but with a new protagonist. The story, though by no means the most profound, kept me interested throughout my entire playthrough. Pretty alright Quake game! I'd recommend buying when its on sale though, $15 is a bit much for this. Would love to see a remaster like what Quake and Quake II got.
Most of my hours are in openq4, a source port. Impeccable atmosphere. Fantastic game. Please give the remaster treatment!
