I first heard of this game over a year ago, as Kirsche repeatedly lamented being unwilling to play her favorite game because of controversy between herself and the devs. Well, as the devs have taken steps to mend fences and Kirsche has started playing again, I got the game for myself. It can be a little rough to play in single player, because the bot allies (though they have apparently had a lot of improvements made...
As alternatives to Payday go, Rockay has a lot of amusing ideas and its own deranged energy that propels it. Give it a try if you haven't, you may find it infectious.
I got this game strictly to play with a few of my friends, field testing it with just one friend before seeing if it was worth getting the rest of the group involved, but I can confidently say that it's a bust. My biggest complaints are a lack of customization for your specific build, the rarity system rendering most of your unlocks obsolete in pretty short order, and long missions assuming you know what to do and...
