What players say
I thought dmc5 was my favorite for a while but nah its definitely this one. the combat is essentially the same but I just like the aesthetic of this game the most. Whether a dmc veteran or a new player, this one is easy to jump into, though its recommended to play them in order.

Good game, I enjoyed playing it when I was younger, I enjoyed going through it again now at 29. It goes on sale often (even is on sale for 70% as of writing this), so worth a purchase in my opinion. :)
POSITIVES: This game is better than the trilogy. Regarding performance, I had no problem running it on my laptop. But it seems pretty hit or miss regarding that. On some very recent devices, the game seems not to work anymore. Story is way better than in DMC 1-3, finally a complete story! You basically play as Nero that has to unravel the mysteries in a kingdom where Dante seems to be a bad guy. Boss fights are...
