Terraria leads this one at 1,542,077 reviews and has earned the spot: BANG 97 across 51.7 advertised hours. The gate under it is 15,000 reviews minimum and a BANG of 84 or better, sorted by review count. 1,462 games on Steam have 15,000 reviews or more. 377 of them clear 84, so roughly a quarter of the genuinely popular catalog is also a good deal, which is a higher hit rate than I expected before I ran the count.

Sorting by reviews instead of by score is a choice I am not fully happy with. Euro Truck Simulator 2 is fifth with 934,659 reviews and a 92.3, and 45.9 hours of driving a truck across Europe is more game than a 2012 sim has any business being. Baldur's Gate 3 at 94.2 and 73.1 hours sits near the top too. But LISA: The Painful is dead last in the sort with 15,114 reviews and scores 88.6, above Phasmophobia at 86.5 up in the first ten. Popularity is the axis. Value is only the gate.

The 15,000 line punishes anything recent. Review counts are cumulative, so the threshold rewards a game that has been out for a decade and quietly drops a 2026 release loved by 12,000 people that has not had time to build the pile. If you want the newest good things, this is the wrong list.
